On the 19th July of this year, I will be boarding a jumbo jet with my family on a flight to Las Vegas McCarran International Airport, on what will be a 10 hour flight. I can't say that it's going to be a flight that I am looking forward to too much, but I am one of those people who consider the airplane flight abroad as one of the best parts of the holiday. (*^.^*) We will be flying from Gatwick in London and sadly driving down to London from my home town of Birmingham. That 2-3 hour car journey to London and back will be one of my most dreaded experiences of this trip. But it has to be done! :)
I'm not too sure about the "itinerary", but we will be visiting Las Vegas for 2 days, taking an internal flight to San Francisco for 3 days, and then taking another internal flight to a 3 day stay in San Diego before flying back to the UK from there. And then another car journey, mwaaaah! :(
We will be visiting the Grand Canyon, San Diego zoo and just wandering around the places we're staying. The fact that America is actually a whole continent is a strange thing for me to get used to, I'm struggling to accept that it can take hours to travel from one place to the other. It just doesn't seem right! Lol.
This is the first time I will travelling anywhere apart from Europe and I am really looking forward to it! We've been saving up for this trip for ages. I can't wait to get there and just see what the US is like, I've always wanted to visit America...
